Paul Walls is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. He did his first stage performance at the age of five with a gospel quartet group, Little Anthony and the True Tones. These experience lead to opportunities to travel and perform all over the country. At the age of 19, Paul began percussion with different bands from other genres of music, including jazz, heavy metal, country and even classical music.

Paul currently performs with the Louis D Project from Charleston, SC. This band plays a variety of cover tunes from Marvin Gaye to the Allman Brothers and is Charleston's favorite wedding/party band. Paul was also nominated for Drum of the Year by the Charleston Citi Paper. Paul has been with the Louie D. Project for 11 years. He is also a fill-in drummer for a local bluegrass country band, The Green Thieves.
