I am not one to complain about many things. I try to find the good in all things (or at least most things) but we are experiencing some rough weather conditions in Columbia, SC.

It is FREAKING HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been going on before the summer even started but right now we are baking. Right now it is 11:12am and it is already 93. You might think that 93 isn't so bad but when you add in the humidity, it is already 105 heat index and the temps are going to climb much higher today.

I worked yesterday to get caught up and it was 113 heat index. The inside shop temps were 98 plus the humidity

So you want to go to the sink and splash your face with some cool water. Not when the water coming out feels 100 degrees no mater how long you let it run!

The good in all of this??? The logos dry faster (always a silver lining in everything).

Anyway, production days have been shorter for many of us. We normally work until we are too light-headed or the headaches are too overwhelming!

Good News ahead?! It normally cools off into the high 80s for us around mid-September. No wait - That is really bad news!

Jamie

If I was omnipotent, I'd give you our weather in Washington for what you're experiencing right now =P. Our highs right now are about 80 degrees, but we have little to no humidity so the breeze really cuts through well and is very refreshing.

I feel your pain though - I used to live in Japan where humidity was literally around 95% on top of the high 90's/low 100's temperature.

I know how you feel! It's about the same temperature here in Oklahoma with 100% humidity I'm pretty sure! I hope it's cools off soon..
