Seanhammer wrote: Starting tonight, I will dive into some splendid classical and baroque tunes, starting off with Mozart, along with Beethoven, Handel, Pachelbel, Bach, Scarlatti, Albinoni, Vivaldi, and some Yo-Yo Ma. Might I suggest some Wagner as well? Huge influence on composers that followed in the early twentieth century. Ride Of The Valkyries and The Flying Dutchman are two of my particular favorites.

I'm familiar with Wagner's pieces, but unfortunately I don't have any cds/lps with his compositions! ... I think I'll go to Goodwill and look for some records (I tend to have good luck). I do, however, have a few of Tchaikovsky's lps that I could throw in the mix.

I probably won't listen to anything other than the new Avenged Sevenfold for at least the next month.
