Later in 2001, the
SH series saw improvements with the SH2 alloy. All SH2 cymbals
are distinctive with the black pad pressed Saluda logo only and
all other logos in a blue, ink stamped design. The SH2 series
has rounder hammering marks and many additional weights/types
were offered.
The SH3 alloy was
the first series to feature all blue ink stamped logos with the
traditional Saluda font .
These pictures show
the variations in SH3 & SH4 alloys. The SH4 alloy was the last
run before the SH series was discontinued. There were a few
versions of the SH4 alloy with the black, ink stamped logos. The
SH alloy was discontinued in 2003.
